The construction and general arrangement of electrical equipment ensures safe and efficient operation under normal running conditions, but, if they are not looked after properly and maintained periodically, conditions may arise in the course of normal usage to render even the safest equipment a menace to persons and property, keeping which in mind, proper maintenance of electrical equipment, adequate planning of maintenance, and HIGH QUALITY OF MAINTENANCE are of prime importance. Over a period, electrical system equipment as well as technology becomes obsolete and it is necessary to replace the whole equipment or part of it to keep pace with the latest technology and our PLANT BETTERMENT SERVICES look after such things.

For any electrical distribution system, the operation of protective relays and schemes is vital when the situation calls for, as protective gear is solely concerned with fault conditions, and cannot therefore readily be tested under normal system operating conditions. It is therefore essential that commissioning tests using SECONDARY AS WELL AS PRIMARY INJECTION OF PROTECTIVE RELAYS and system and periodic servicing and maintenance of these relays be carried out meticulously and systematically. If any relay is found to be having Major Defects, requiring replacement of damaged component or rewiring of internal circuits or detailed fault finding test of static circuits, it needs to be repaired as and when required. We offer these POWER SYSTEM PROTECTION SERVICES (viz. relay testing, by primary and secondary injection) including repairing of faulty relays to ascertain the accuracy of operation of installed equipment.

TESTING AND COMMISSIONING SERVICES

Prior to commissioning of the electrical equipment, the pre - commissioning tests are required to be performed on the equipment. These tests may be a repetition of the tests carried out at manufacturer’s works to determine that the equipment supplied is in accordance with the specifications.

The pre-commissioning tests and subsequently testing and commissioning of electrical system equipments for following areas are taken up on a complete package basis also.

DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

Pre - commissioning tests and checks for electrical distribution system like HT/LT Switch gears, Motor Control Centers, Distribution Transformers, HT/LT bus duct, HT Cables and other electrical equipments as per the design and specifications. OUTDOOR SWITCH YARD Pre - commissioning tests and checks for outdoor switch yard equipments such as power & distribution transformers, circuit breaker, CT, PT, earthing installations, relay and control panels, HT bus duct, cables and other electrical equipments as per the design and requirement of system.
